1. JELET Exam Pattern :-

1. JELET (Joint Entrance Examination for Lateral Entry) 2020 is a state level examination carried out with the aid of WBJEEB (West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board). It could be conducted on June 28, 2020, for admission to 2nd year (3rd semester) in a 4 year degree path in Engineering/Technology/Pharmacy beneath lateral entry scheme. JELET Result is asserted on July 24, 2020.
2. JELET 2020 query paper will include one hundred questions of the objective type and the full time restriction is 120 minutes.
3. Each poor reaction will fetch (-1/4) marks.
4. Application shape for JELET 2020 has been extended till April 30. 
5. WBJEE JELET 2020 Counselling consultation will begin in August 2020.
6. JELET Application Form has been launched on March 26, 2020.

3. JELET Admit Card :-

1. JELET Admit Card is issued with the aid of West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board.
2. JELET 2020 Admit Card may be downloaded from the reputable internet site from June 22, 2020.
3. JELET Admit Card would include details regarding the JELET Exam, the language of paper, exam center, date & time slot of examination, roll quantity and image of the candidate.
4. In case of discrepancy discovered in JELET Admit Card, applicants should without delay contact the legitimate authority.

4. Eligibility for JELET Examination:-

Here are the Eligibility Criteria of JELET 2020 which is given as follow:

1. Nationality

The candidate have to be an Indian Citizen.

2. Age Limit

There is no age restrict for Diploma holders in Engineering/Pharmacy/Technology
For B.Sc. Candidates, the higher age limit is 27 years as on December 31, 2020
For Diploma holder in Marine Engineering, the upper age restrict is 25 years as on December 31, 2020.

3. Academic Qualification

Candidates preserving a degree in engineering/pharmacy/technology and desire to apply for diploma publications through JELET must have executed 45% marks from any polytechnic institute/Pharmacy institute recognized by using AICTE.
Candidates maintaining B.Sc. degree, who wish to are seeking for admissions into Engineering/Technology guides, need to have pass B.Sc. degree with 45% marks from UGC acknowledged University. Also, candidates should have surpassed Class XII with arithmetic as a subject.

5.  Preparation Tips for JELET Exam :-

If you think that engineering is your ultimate passion and you are very much passionate about it,  and you think that only the Diploma degree will not satisfy you then JELET  is your ultimate hope for your future and there sky is the limit of your Success.

* Start your preparation  as early as possible, I will suggest you to start from the month of  JUNE., 2019 Or JULY, 2019 to crack JELET 2020.

* First start by reading your  1st & 2nd semester subjects and brush up the knowledge that you had already gain in your first year study of diploma engineering.

If you are a VOCLET candidate that means if you are lateral holder of diploma engineering, I would suggest you to go for  any coaching center to clear basic knowledge about the subjects.

* Firstly read and complete your text book's syllabus of 1st year and then go for the last 10 years questions of JELET Examination and also take some model sets to practice and be confident on the exam day.

* If you think that self study is not sufficient to understand the subjects then don't panic and don't  think that what would others think about you. Only you know your weakness. So, I would suggest you to go for a tuition immediately, take online coaching to clear all the doubts or you can go to your seniors or your teachers.

Firstly I would like to give you a suggestion, that you should first go through the full syllabus in detail and understand the whole syllabus then strictly go through the all previous year questions. After all these, you  will definitely get some basic ideas about the JELET exam pattern.

Another misconception in students is that coaching centers / institutes are only taking money for their business. If you consult with any of previous year toppers then you will get the actual concept behind it. 99% of the toppers either take coaching, take tuitions from experienced teachers or take a drop for second attempt.
So, I would recommend you to take a guideline from an experienced person.
